Diagnostic laparoscopy with tube patency test

Diagnostic laparoscopy (keyhole surgery) is surgical diagnsostic procedure when camera and instruments introduces in abdomen through small abdominal incisions to view the organs inside the abdomen and pelvis. Biopsy and fallopian tube patency test may be done during the procedure. Diagnostic laparoscopy performs in general anesthesia. It takes about 30-45 minutes and patient discharges from the hospital some hours after the surgery.

Diagnostic hysteroscopy is surgical procedure when camera and instruments are introduced through uterine cervix to look inside the uterus. Biopsy and dilatation and curretage may be done during the procedure. Diagnostic hysteroscopy performs as day surgery in local or general anesthesia and takes about 15-30 minutes.
