Infertility

Infertility is a condition defined by the failure to achieve apregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse (WHO).

Fecundity or probability to achieve pregnancy in humans is about 20 % per month. About 85 % of couples achieve pregnancy after 12 months and 15 % of couples needs medical treatments to cure infertility.
